Geordie Shore Series 3 – Chaos in Cancun has not even aired yet, and with the huge success of previous series. MTV have gone a head and released a confirmation of a fourth series of Geordie Shore. Which is something we’re eagerly awaiting for. MTV also stated their will be a “shake-up of cast members and a potential new arrival”. But will this mean someone has to leave? If so, we wonder wo it could be. Or where it will be based.

Similar to previous Geordie Shore series, the fourth will also feature eight hour-long episodes and is set to go into production later this summer.

Kerry Taylor, Senior Vice President, Director of Television, Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) UK & Ireland said: “It is fantastic to announce that Geordie Shore is coming back for a fourth series!

“The response to the show since it launched in May 2011 has been truly phenomenal – both from a ratings perspective and across our social media platforms.”

She added: “The success of series one and two, combined with the demand and online buzz for series 3, now just weeks away, has yet again demonstrated MTV’s ability to create compelling content that continues to excite young ‘millennial’ audiences everywhere.”
