Self-confessed professional poser James likes to think of himself as Newcastle’s leading man and admits he can’t walk past a reflective surface without checking he looks ‘mint’. A real lad about town James sees himself as a trendsetter, yet under this stylish facade is a quiet and sensitive boy.
James lives at home with his mum and dad in Newcastle. He is particularly close to his ma after she suffered a brain hemorrhage a few years ago and happy to be called a mummy’s boy. James always keeps his room spotless and sprays it with expensive aftershave in case he wants to bring a girl back and add another notch to the bed post. He even makes his bed with one corner folded down as an invitation for the ladies! His love den is also complete with mirrored wardrobes so he can watch himself in action. When the girls leave his dad gives them a mark them out of 10 over the breakfast table – which according to James, is never lower than an eight!
James only works 10 hours a week at his dad’s transport business, with the rest of the time devoted to pumping iron, boozing and pulling. Sometimes he’ll mix work and pleasure moonlighting as a topless male host, which gives him free reign to chat up fit girls whilst earning a bit of wedge. It also means he’s got a great excuse to spend a lot of time and money on his appearance. He aims to hit the gym at least 14 hours a week and has regular sunbeds, facials and waxing sessions and always wears expensive clothes. Being the man about town that he is, James likes to keep everyone happy and avoids conflict whenever possible as he is all about the ‘good times’. But he says the one thing that would make him completely lose it would be if someone stole his hair straighteners – completely unacceptable in his books!
His quest in life is to pull as many girls as possible and in his own words: ‘why not go out and get pissed, get naked and have fun!’
